Where do we start when it looks like such a high mountain to climb to recover from a tragic emotional experience?
“Beyond Pregnancy Loss – From Heartbreak to Healing” promotes the first step of emotional healing as ‘exploration’. It may seem obvious the types of emotions we may experience after a loss but we rarely take the time to sit down and consider what we are actually feeling. I am sure we would agree that the most common feelings we may experience are sadness and anger with perhaps a little bit of fear mixed in as well for good measure.
Emotional healing after miscarriage starts with an acknowledgment that we have a need and a desire to heal. Choice is the critical first step along this journey.
