are enough. We can choose to commemorate our loss in any number of ways that feel right for us…

Remembrance is an important part of long term healing. These moments provide us with an opportunity to reflect on the experience from a different perspective and honour the spirit of our babies. Although not for everyone, there are many ways to establish a memorial or keep memory.

Starting a website or blog about our experience can be a very therapeutic way to express emotions, and also serves to create a lasting memory for others to connect with.

Creative expression through art, craft or writing songs and poems is not only a great way to express but also leave a lasting tribute to our little ones.  Poems, paintings, songs and letters are all ways to honour a life lost.

Although many losses do not result in funerals and memorials, this doesn’t mean that each of us can’t choose to remember the experience in a way that makes us feel comfortable. There is no time frame in which we must create a way to remember. We don’t need a body or a grave to do this, our experiences are enough.

Action: Consider how you would like to remember the life of your baby so that it is a heart-warming experience.
